What's Next for Us?

We will stay here in Ft. Myers for the next week to get organized to return to Minnesota to be with our family in time for Christmas. Plans are to sell the boat here in Southwest Florida. It has performed flawlessly for the entire trip and was, without doubt, the best choice we could have made for this adventure.

We are so thankful to God for His protection for this entire trip. I was also able to gather some great interviews of first generation Christians. I plan to continue those interviews till I have about 50 or so and then hopefully work with another author to write a book on the topic.

Others have encouraged us to write about this trip as well. Given the interest in the adventure, we may just do that. Many books have been written on the Great Loop Adventure but most are several years old.

Congratulations, Joy @ Sea!! We've been enthralled following the Skipper and the Admiral these past eight months. It's been a world class adventure rediscovering North American as you've navigated over these marvelous waterways, berthed at fascinating towns and communities along the way, and met with the terrific folk who live here. Much thanks for sharing your experiences! God Bless! Stan & Jane in Annapolis.

What a wonderful adventure the two of you have had! Marriage is certainly the "great adventure" and to see that yours gets better every year is truly a blessing. I know that having Jesus Christ at the center of your marriage is what ensures that it is filled with Joy. And you are blessed at this time in your life to have Joy at Sea... MQ :)

Live it up in Florida when you can. It is ridiculously cold here- I have on four layers on top right now, and I'm inside. Brrr.....
